Privacy Policy

Each board has a 32-character random URL with 128 bits of entropy. Anyone with the URL can view and edit the board. If you set an optional password, we store a bcrypt hash — never the plaintext.

So you can find your way back without the secret link, your browser keeps a small list of the boards it has visited (name, slug, and last-visited time) in a cookie. Because it's a cookie, that list is sent to our server with your requests (always over TLS) so we can render “your boards” for you — the board slugs are already visible to the server anyway, since they're part of the board URL you're viewing. The list never identifies you and is never shared. Clear it any time with “Clear all” on the home page or by clearing cookies. See the Cookie Policy for details.

We use PostHog (EU region) for aggregated product analytics — page views, a short list of named events like “a board was created” or “a teammate was added”, and anonymous page-speed measurements, such as how long a page took to load and how quickly it responded to your first interaction. It is configured to store nothing on your device: no analytics cookie, no local storage, so nothing follows you between sessions. We do not record your screen, and we do not capture the text on the page. Board URLs, board names, teammate names and event titles are stripped from every analytics payload before it leaves your browser — the board link is a credential, so it never reaches a third party. We also report a non-secret, pseudonymous board key and counts of teammates and calendar entries to measure board use over time. This groups activity by board, not by person, and cannot be used to open the board. Successful creations and interest-list registrations are counted on the server; registration reports contain the chosen feature and proposed price, never the email address. We also record public campaign labels and the public landing page alongside a board creation, so we can see which sources lead to calendars being set up and used again. These labels do not identify a visitor and are not stored in an analytics cookie.

If you join the Plus interest list, we store your email address, your chosen feature, the proposed price shown to you, and a record of your permission to contact you about the launch. This information is stored in our database, separately from boards. Your email is never sent to analytics or used to identify your board. We use it only to assess interest and contact you about Plus with your consent. You can withdraw that consent and request deletion at any time by writing to support@klarweb.no. Entries expire after six months and are removed by the next weekly cleanup. Joining does not create an account, order, or paid subscription.

Board content is stored in a Postgres database hosted by Neon. Hosting infrastructure runs on Vercel.

Boards persist as long as they are accessed. To delete a board immediately, contact support@klarweb.no with the board URL.
